Intoxalock, the company that developed the technology used in breathalyzers in vehicles, has posted a Remote Reporting Specialist job to their careers page.
In this role, you would “be responsible for day to day account reporting and analyzing data to identify violations as outlined by each state, and prioritizing the identification of potential instances of tampering and/or circumvention.” This includes providing reports to states or counties, reviewing data logs, and correcting data as required.
Applicants should have at least a high school diploma or GED; strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills; and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Access and SharePoint preferred.
The posted pay rate $16.77 – $21.63/hour, and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package.

The Reporting Specialist fulfills Intoxalock’s requirement to verify and report customers’ use of the ignition interlock device. The Reporting Specialist will be responsible for day to day account reporting and analyzing data to identify violations as outlined by each state, and prioritizing the identification of potential instances of tampering and/or circumvention. Reporting Specialists operate in a fast paced, high volume environment; a high degree of efficiency and attention to detail are required to meet role expectations.
Complete required Compliance reporting to State and monitoring authorities, including:
- Provide all applicable reports to state/counties within required timeframes
- Detailed review of data logs, including images where necessary
- Reviewing and/or reporting on violations
- Review and correct system data as needed including state data feed results
- Meeting Intoxalock’s SLAs
- Driving processes that streamline the compliance processes; recommending automation that streamlines and improves the accuracy of compliance processes.
- All other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm CST
- High school diploma or GED required with previous compliance work experience, some college preferred.
- Strong verbal (both in person and phone) and written communication skills that can be flexed to fit a broad spectrum of situations.
- Excellent organizational & time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail leading to high quality work product.
- A strong sense of accountability and work ethic with the ability to manage work independently.
- Superior judgment and critical thinking skills to make a well evaluated decision regarding state regulations and company operating procedures.
- Positive, resilient, consistent, customer-centric attitude. Patient, team-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to analyze account documentation and device usage/history.
- Computer skills required include proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; familiarity with
- Microsoft Access and SharePoint preferred.
- Effective problem solving skills used to identify efficiency, quality and/or service improvements to the work assigned.
