In this role, you would be managing inbound and outbound interactions via phone. These calls involve patient engagement, appointment coordination, follow-up, and other related tasks. You would also process mail, fax, and other necessary documents; research, identify, and solve problems; and other assigned duties.

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in our team, providing exceptional patient care and support through
telephone and electronic communication. This position encompasses both inbound and outbound interactions, requiring a proactive
approach to patient engagement, appointment coordination, and follow-up. The ideal candidate will possess excellent
communication skills, keen attention to detail, and a strong commitment to assisting others.
Responsibilities
- Answers a high volume of calls and provides exceptional customer service
- Process mail, fax, and other necessary documents
- Researches, identifies and problem solves, verifies eligibility of service and place call backs as required
- Meets and supports established service goals and business objectives by meeting and exceeding performance standards
- Adapts communication style to people representing diverse personal, professional, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Ensures customer satisfaction by providing quality service (respectful and considerate care), identifying customer needs and
assisting them with issues/concerns - Troubleshoots and coordinates with team members to resolve customer issues. Transfers calls to appropriate team members
for medication refill requests, lab/diagnostic results, etc. - Understands and analyzes health plan benefits
- Successfully builds and maintains relationships with Team Members, Patients, Clients and third party vendors
- Coordinates and assists with work across multiple work team to ensure high quality and timely solutions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school degree or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills with keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of compliance regulations, industry standards, and legal frameworks
- Ability to analyze complex information and translate it into clear, professional documentation
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Keen eye for attention to detail
- Self-starter who can work independently without constant supervision
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Experience in a physician’s office/medical office preferred
- Experience with registration and/or medical insurance is preferred
- Ability to deal with and solve problems using solid judgment skills
- Automated computer system proficiency
- Reliable attendance and ability to adhere to a published schedule a must
- Must have reliable internet connection (Satellite and 5G connections are not acceptable)
- Able to provide 2 monitors 22 inches each with both HMDI and Display ports
