Focus groups are a popular way for companies and organizations to gather consumer input needed to improve products, marketing, and planning.
Respondent is a site where companies post their studies. You can sign up to participate, and if you qualify you can get paid for your input.
Through Respondent, you apply for projects by taking screeners (answering a series of questions that will help companies determine whether you are a good fit for the study). You’re limited to THREE screeners in a 24-hour period, so choose the ones you feel you’re most likely to qualify for.
Here are some of the studies that are currently posted.

Seeking opinions from college students
Compensation: $100
Focus Group Description: “We’re looking to hear from college students who use AI and other technology as part of their studies or everyday life. Bonus points if any of these tools help you manage food, nutrition, health, choosing restaurants etc.”
Social Media
Compensation: $125
Focus Group Description: “Teens who have social media accounts, teens that have stopped using some social media accounts and teens that do not have any social media accounts. Parents please fill this survey out but your teen will be the one participating in a Zoom interview.”
Seeking New Grocery Delivery Gig Workers
Compensation: $100
Focus Group Description: “We are a gig work company looking to learn more about the experience of gig workers who have recently joined platforms to do grocery delivery work with their personal vehicles.We’d like to ask you questions about your experience delivering groceries.”
Seeking Parents of Students taking Spanish courses for Online Focus Group (CALIFORNIA)
Compensation: $100
Focus Group Description: “Parents! Want to share your thoughts on student education in California and earn $100? We’re looking for parents of school-aged kids that are taking Spanish courses to join a 1-hour online focus group via Zoom on Wednesday, June 11th at 6pm PT. Receive $100 as a thank you for your time and feedback. Spots are limited — sign up now! Please note, participation will require you to join from a desktop/ laptop computer with a working webcam.”
Seeking people living with diabetes to talk about your experience!
Compensation: $100
Focus Group Description: “We’re looking to speak with people living with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes to better understand how you manage your treatment, including how you work with your healthcare provider to make decisions about insulin therapy and diabetes technology. Your input will help shape a new website experience for our client in the healthcare product space.”
Healthcare Access and Experience Study
Compensation: $100
Focus Group Description: “We are conducting a research study to better understand people’s healthcare experiences across United States. We’re particularly interested in learning about people’s challenges accessing and undergoing healthcare visits/treatments in their communities. Participation in the study will entail a 90-minute remote video interview about your healthcare experiences, where you share insights about your healthcare journey and challenges. You will receive $100 as compensation for your time and perspective. Interviews will take place between June 2-13, 2025”
Lawn Care Study
Compensation: $100
Focus Group Description: “We are a qualitative research platform and one of our clients would like to speak to you about the lawn care products you use! If selected, you will be asked to complete 1-on-1 online interviews and some video activities on your mobile device (30 min total, $100 per). Additional follow ups may be requested & you would receive more $!”
Looking for drivers to talk about truck stops / convenience stores
Compensation: $250
Focus Group Description: “We’re looking for drivers to participate in our virtual 60 minute in-depth interview talking about truck stops and convenience stores. No preparation is needed and as a thank you for your time and input we will be offering an incentive of $250 after completion of the interview and project.”
